Balance Sheet with Trial Balance Import and Business Dashboard
Product Description
Know what the business owns, owes and has built in equity, without building a financial model from scratch.
Finreportly is an Excel-based Balance Sheet and management dashboard designed for small-business owners. Choose the input route that suits the records available:
Manual monthly input - enter monthly Actual and Budget / Target closing balances in clearly highlighted cells.
Trial balance import - paste Month, Account code, Account name, Debit balance and Credit balance, then review only the rows that need attention.
Approved figures flow automatically into the monthly Balance Sheet, selected-month variance analysis, eight dashboard KPI cards, four management visuals and formula-generated commentary.
Straightforward Balance Sheet Workflow
Enter the business name, financial-year start, currency and Actual input source on Setup.
Review the standard reporting categories and activate custom rows only when needed.
Choose Manual monthly input or Trial balance import.
Enter month-end balances directly, or paste one closing trial-balance row per account per month.
Editable keyword rules suggest the reporting category in priority order.
Use Override category only when a suggestion is missing or incorrect.
Possible duplicate account balances and unresolved categories are isolated for review.
Budget / Target closing balances remain separately editable in Monthly Inputs.
Select a reporting month to refresh the Balance Sheet, dashboard and commentary.
Open Checks and confirm MODEL STATUS: PASS before relying on or sharing the report.
The trial-balance area supports up to 500 account rows. It is designed for closing balances from bookkeeping records, not transaction-level bank data. The buyer must confirm the category mapping, sign convention and accounting treatment.

Important Balance Sheet Note
A Balance Sheet is a point-in-time report. A bank statement alone cannot reliably provide receivables, payables, stock, VAT, depreciation, loans or equity. Use closing balances from business records or a trial balance. Finreportly supports internal management reporting and does not replace bookkeeping, accounting, tax, legal or other professional advice.
