Cash Flow Statement with Bank CSV Import and Business Dashboard
Full product description
Turn monthly figures or an exported bank CSV into a clear Cash Flow Statement, monthly and year-to-date dashboard, automated exception review and business commentary. Finreportly identifies inflows and outflows, applies editable keyword rules and shows what the cash movements may mean for the business.
Know where your cash came from, where it went and what it means - without building a financial model from scratch.
Finreportly is an Excel-based Cash Flow Statement and management dashboard designed for small-business owners. Choose the input route that suits your business:
1. **Manual monthly input** - enter monthly Actual and Budget amounts in clearly highlighted cells.
2. **Bank CSV import** - paste an exported bank statement, map its headers once and review only the transactions that need attention.
Approved figures flow automatically into the Cash Flow Statement, monthly and year-to-date KPI cards, four management charts and formula-generated commentary.
Straightforward monthly bank workflow
- Paste the full bank CSV, including its header row.
- Map Date, Description and the bank amount columns once for that export format.
- Use either separate Money In / Money Out columns or one signed Amount column.
- Tell the workbook whether positive signed amounts represent money in or money out.
- Append later monthly CSVs at the displayed Next paste row.
- Repeated bank header rows are ignored automatically.
- Editable description keywords suggest the cash-flow category.
- Normal recognised transactions become Ready automatically.
- Unmatched, duplicated or conflicting transactions are isolated for review.
- Optional Transaction ID and Account mapping improves duplicate detection.
- Internal transfers and genuine duplicates can be excluded from reported cash flow.
- Budgets remain separately editable in Monthly Inputs.
The paste area supports up to **20 source columns and 2,000 annual transaction rows**. It is designed for common bank-export structures, but the buyer must confirm the column mapping, category rules and final treatment.

Important Cash Flow note
A bank statement records cash movement. It does not replace bookkeeping records or determine every business treatment automatically. Users must review transfers, refunds, reversals, loan payments, credit-card settlements and other judgement items. Finreportly supports internal management reporting and cash planning. It does not provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax, legal, investment or other professional advice.
